Sackatoga Stable : ウィキペディア英語版
Sackatoga Stable
Sackatoga Stable is an American Thoroughbred horse breeding business in Sackets Harbor, New York.
== Funny Cide ==

Sackatoga Stable LLC (the name is a blend of Sackets Harbor and Saratoga) was founded by Jack Knowlton and Ed Mitzen in July, 2006. Managing Partner, Knowlton was concentrating on horses bred in New York. He asked trainer, Barclay Tagg to "find them a good horse." Tagg recommended Funny Cide. He had seen then owner Tony Everard quickly buy the colt at the 2001 sales, and Tagg also recognized his potential. Tagg had wanted to buy the colt before, but he had not found a client who would meet Everard's asking price then of $50,000.
After their mare, Bail Money, was claimed for $62,500 at Gulfstream Park, the Sackatoga Stable consortium could swing the price of Funny Cide. Tagg purchased the gelding for $75,000 in a private transaction in March, 2002.
Tagg remains the representative buyer for the stables.
